7. Diaper Messages

As guests arrive at the shower, ask them to use a marker, and write on the front of a few diapers for messages to the parents. After all of the guests have written something, place them throughout boxes of plain diapers and give them to the expectant mother to take home. 27. Learn Baby-Proofing

No one coming to a baby shower wants to fall asleep “playing” educational games. This game is most likely not entertaining and may cause argumentative debates over what is “correct” and “incorrect” considering how parenting techniques vary greatly. If your guests really wanted more information about baby-proofing, they could have easily gone to their local baby store or Googled "how to baby-proof."

28. Onesie Designing

One of the most overused cliche shower “games” to ever exist is onesie designing. If your guests have ever been to a baby shower, they’ve seen this game. Most people would consider this a punishment rather than a game considering how tedious and time-consuming this is.

It’s not the worst game in the book, but it’s definitely not recommended. It turns a regular towel into a towel full of messages and names for the baby. Once again, this is a game I would not ever recommend. The game claims that the person who brings the seventh gift that the mom-to-be opens is going to be the next one expecting. The time capsule makes this list because it’s not a game and it’s complicated to set up. This entails people bringing items that are meaningful to the year in which the baby is born. You often need hindsight to derive meaning.

I think that I speak for everyone when I say that this is one of the more odd games out of all of the previous ones listed. Here comes the baby! calls for miniature baby figurines to be frozen inside ice cubes. These ice cubes are then handed out to the guests to see who can melt their ice cube first and get to the baby. This game is messy, cold, time-consuming, and just plain strange.

34. Finish the Nursery Rhyme

Before the party, create a sheet with the start of various nursery rhymes. When the guests arrive, hand the papers out and give everyone five minutes to complete the song. The person with the most rhymes filled out wins!
