5 Reasons to Use our Housewarming Party Checklist
1. Automatic Timeline
Have you ever come across a checklist that already has the timeline set up with no option to change the dates? Well, our housewarming party checklist is not like that. All of our checklists plan a timeline for your event depending on the date you want to start planning your party and the date of the event. So, if you are planning your party to be in the next month and you need two or three weeks to plan it, the checklist will assign dates to each task depending on your timetable.
2. Event-Specific
This is not a checklist for a fits-for-all-events. It is specifically a housewarming party checklist.
3. Easy Viewing
One of the best ways to see how your progress is going is with colors. Why? Because they help you see how your progress is going. For example, when you are done sending invitations to your family, friends, and neighbors, you mark them as completed, and the task will be green. If the deadline to find a caterer is approaching, the task will be yellow, and red if you missed the deadline.
However, note that you are in full control of your checklist, so if you want to change the date of any task, you can easily do that.
4. Resource Links
Throughout the checklist, you will see multiple links that will direct you to multiple services, for example:
· Links to caterers and vendors
· Links to online apps to choose or customize invitations
· Links to sites to create surveys to know what dietary restrictions your guests may have
· A budget sheet for your housewarming party event
5. Easy to Share and Edit
Do you have any friends or family who want to give you a hand with your party? All you need to do is share the checklist with them through Google Drive, as long as they have a Gmail account. That way, they will all have access to the checklist and will be able to see the planning process as it progresses.
Additional Instructions
Let’s say that you want to group “desserts” with the existing task “food and beverage” under the category “caterers”. To do so, you can just simply overwrite “food and beverages” with “caterers” in that specific task box. The due date of this task will be the same unless you choose to change it.
Let’s say you got a call from a friend saying they might bring an item that you need for your party. To add this new task to your checklist, all you need to do is:
Right-click on the number of the row immediately above or below where you want to add the task, and then click ‘insert one above/below. After that, merge the three cells within the task box area.
Then add a date for the new task. Once you do that, the task will be color-coded.
